Who This Is For
I work 1:1 with engineering managers and tech leads who are smart, capable, and stuck.
That might look like: you've been managing for a year or two and the job still doesn't feel like you thought it would. Or you're experienced but something's not working — your team's underperforming, you're losing trust with stakeholders, or you just feel like you're behind all the time and can't figure out why.
It might also look like: you're transitioning from IC to lead, and no one gave you an actual map for how to do that without breaking either yourself or your team.
If you're looking for a weekly accountability partner or someone to help you build a certification, this isn't the right fit. If you want to get clearer on what's actually going on and put better systems in place, it probably is.
What Working Together Looks Like
We meet for 60 minutes, usually every two weeks. Sessions are focused — we work on what's in front of you, not a pre-built curriculum.
Common areas: structuring your week so you have time to actually think, getting better signal from your team without micromanaging, navigating a difficult stakeholder relationship, recovering from a bad quarter without carrying it forward, figuring out when to push and when to let things go.
Most people get traction within the first two or three sessions. The work is practical — you leave each call with something concrete to try.
